into photography and loves to go around the country and take pictures in small town
USA. You thinking what I'm thinking...................
Mr. Jason Lee you are invited to join us for the Bandit
Run 2008, and I'm sure you can ride along with anyone of us, take some pictures
and play "The Bandit" for a day or two. We did it last year and had a blast......

Sarasota, FL. close to my office. I think it's just for parts value, meaning
very rough. He says it's a 1978 w/ the 400 pontiac motor.

Car Auction Sept. 28 & 29th. They have a 1977 Black & Gold Trans Am
up for Auction Lot # 475. Looks to be an SE from the picture. If you
go let us know how much it sold for.

Pick up the Dec. 2007 issue of
High Performance Pontiac
and you will find a few shots of the Bandit Run. One is below... Mark,Shain
& Brock. The other shot is of us on the track and one group photo of the
cars at
Year One. A must have! Also a great
interview with Hal Needham about the movie and the cars they used. And yes
they were stock! (except for the one that jumped the bridge)

fellow bandit runners. This is the video Donnie shot in Shain's Trans Am on
the Bandit Run 2007. I'm no expert in the video edit department, I did
trim it down to 22 min and added some music. Donnie did a great job of getting
almost eveybody in his shots. So take a look, maybe you will see your Trans
Am. Please give it time to load, 140 mb video (at low quality).

No bandit coverage.... but
here's why (at least what I think) The show was not from this year, the sky
was overcast, the pavement was wet in some of the shots and some people were wearing
jackets. If I remember, I was the only dummy wearing a jacket, it was clear
blue sky with plenty of sun this year. Let me know what you think? |

Updates .......
DIY Network show
with Burt and the Trans am give-a-way should air mid Oct.2007. Alot of footage
was filmed at the Year One event, and I'm sure you will see some of that on
the promos & show.
The
GEARZ episode with the
Year One Bandit Edition Trans AM and Tim's 1978
T/A will also air sometime in Oct. 2007. Keep you Updated.
I was watching My Classic Car Sunday and they said next week shows was going to
be from the Year One Event, just maybe some footage of us Bandit Runners,
I have my DVR ready. |
